Statement of Faith | Our Mission | Guidelines We are a small ministry which has the goal of other ministries; to spread the good news about Jesus Christ and to edify and disciple those who have accepted His leadership in their lives and salvation through Him. Our particular area of interest is prophecy in the Bible. This site aims to provide original commentaries on prophetic scripture and topics. Although the largest area of interest is likely to be what the Bible has to say about events in the future, this site also contains discussions of prophecy which has already been fulfilled; especially prophecies concerning the Messiah, Jesus. Statement of Faith
We believe that the prophetic evidence found in the Bible demonstrates that there is a God who is the Author of all creation. That because we are not capable of living up to the perfect will of God, He gave us the propitiary sacrifice of His Son, Jesus, the Christ, to pay the price of our individual disobedience, past, present and future.
We believe also that the Bible is the literal Word of God. That He has made Himself clear enough in it that anyone with a seeking heart and open mind may come to know Him and have a saving relationship with Him. We believe that Jesus is the only way to get to heaven. If you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, please refer to this. We believe that the point of Biblical prophecy is to lead people to Jesus and to edify them in their relationship with Him. We believe that there is a literal Heaven and a literal Hell. That which place someone goes to when he or she dies depends entirely on whether or not that individual has accepted Jesus for who He is; Savior and Lord of his or her life. Our Mission
Our mission is simple. We wish to make available on the Internet the results of our studies in the area of Biblical prophecy and other areas of interest and edification. We hope and pray that by doing so someone will come to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Not out of fear for the judgements to come, nor even because we presented a convincing intellectual argument, but because the love of God has been demonstrated. Salvation comes through the acceptance of this love.
Secondarily, we hope and pray that the information we provide will help those who are already Christians get to know God even better. That their walk with Jesus will be enriched by the knowledge (and, hopefully, wisdom) found here. If you have appreciated the things you have found here and have a mind to do so, please keep us in your prayers that we might succeed in our mission here. Guidelines
We truly appreciate comments, questions and corrections about our work here. We are by no means perfect and make no claims to having grasped the entirety of Gods Truth. We are not surprised or offended when people disagree with what we put forth. We appreciate every bit of input we can get.
However, to make sure that the truth is put forth in the kind and loving way in which God intended, we do ask that these guidelines are observed. - Please document disagreements or alternate interpretations with supporting scripture. Dont forget, weve spent a lot of time investigating and studying. Everything provided here is done so with a great deal of thought and prayer. We appreciate the well thought out alternatives.
- Be aware that, due to our position concerning the authority of the Bible, texts supporting alternate viewpoints from sources other than the Bible will carry less weight, especially if it is a subject about which the Bible is very clear.
- Be aware that various religious traditions will also carry much less weight when they contradict Gods Word. After all, the gospels are full of the rebukes on this point that Jesus levied at the Pharisees.
- If you find yourself offended at something weve put forth, please take a moment to consider the specifics of what has caused the offense. If you are offended with a position which is well supported by Scripture, please take it up with God and dont shoot the messenger. If it has to do with the way weve worded something, by all means let us know so that we may correct the problem as soon as possible. We have no wish to offend someone, but we realize that Gods Truth is, by definition, offensive to those not prepared to accept it.
We truly believe that observing these guidelines will help us all grow in our walks with Jesus and with our ability to love one another.
