Laiken, my Princess, we miss you so very, very much. I ache to hold you in my arms. I can’t believe you are already going to be spending your 2nd birthday in Heaven. We will be at the cemetery, sending balloons up to you. We love you so much.
Love, Mommy, Daddy, Big Sister Arianna, Big Brother Jarod and Baby Brother, Gavin...Laiken was born premature and lived an hour and a half. She was delivered emergency c-section due to he mom having severe HELLP Syndrome (hemolysis, elevated liver enzymes, low platelets) at 24 wks. gestation. We had just found out we were having a girl at 19 wks. We were so excited. We wanted her so much. It seems so unfair. |
